Presentation Guidelines

Make your presentation in PowerPoint 2010 or older. Use the following as a guide:

We cannot guarentee your presentation will work unless we test it first.
A good guideline is to anticipate each slide lasting 2 minutes.
(If you wish to leave 15 minutes for Q&A then 15 slides is a maximum)
The background for each slide should be black or as dark as possible.
The recommended font is Comic Sans MS.
The font size should be 32 or larger.
The font color should be white or a very light color.
If you have pictures on the slides, they need to fill the entire slide.
If you have video, make sure that the resolution of the video is greater
than 640 x 480 and is MP4 format.
If you would like to have access to the internet during your presentation, we MUST know now.

Each room will have the following equipment:

Laptop computer with PowerPoint 2010.
A video projector capable of projecting 640 x 480 resolution.
A microphone for the presenter.
An audio cable to take sound from the laptop computer to the sound system in the room.
